WHAT IS THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK?

Melchizedek is a soul energy that is ancient, dating back to before the time of Abraham.  As a person, Melchizedek incarnated as a priest during the establishment of Ur in Salem, or Jerusalem, and has come back into physical form whenever the influence was needed by the planet, the last being Jesus, the Christ.  Biblical references can be found in Genesis 14:28-20, Hebrews 5:7-10, Hebrews 6:16-20, Psalm 100, and Hebrews 7:1-17 which ends. “Thou are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.”  Every Catholic, Episcopalian, and Lutheran priest is ordained into the Order of Melchizedek.

Each person that is moved to take the step to become a priest of the Order of Melchizedek has been prepared through lifetimes and was born already having made the decision to become a priest.  Regarding formal training, it was said, Jesus didn't tell the disciples to go to four years of seminary.  He told them to teach people to love one another.  Each person has had experiences in life and education, both formal and informal, which has been a preparation for their personal ministry, and any future studies chosen will be exactly perfect for preparation of their work.

In taking this step, a person commits him/herself to teach and to heal.  That does not mean to quit their job and get a church.  It means to be available to those who come into their lives to teach “love”, to help people draw from their highest, most loving selves when making decisions in their lives.  Also, to help others realize they can open themselves up to God's healing energy which can flow through each one of us.  Each priest is encouraged not to compare themselves with others as each one is unique and valuable in his or her own way.  The Order is coming into the physical form now because of the Earth transformation that is taking place.  It last came into being in preparation for the coming of Christ.  Several groups are simultaneously emerging, beginning to do ordinations into the Order of Melchizedek, totally independent and many times unaware of each other's existence.

There is no doctrine they must follow other than to follow the “Golden Rule” of treating everyone with love and respect.  If there is anything upon which we all agree is that there is only one God.  We all come from the same source and that source is “Unconditional Love”.  We never say that our way is the only way.  There are many paths to God, but the basis of all true spiritual work is “love”.  We encourage each priest to wait to be asked before beginning to teach someone.  Respect for individual free will must be recognized.  Without “freedom” we die; therefore choose life.  And no one is ready to learn until he or she seeks to find the answers.

Each minister/priest is legally ordained under the Christ Alliance Tetra Trikaya, an incorporated, non-denominational metaphysical and holistic organization in the State of New Jersey.  Each person receives an ordination certification and, in the United States, is able to perform weddings, which is the only legal act a minister performs.  Regulations vary from state to state, as well as from county to county, as to legal requirements to perform a wedding ceremony.  One must research rules pertaining to the particular area where the marriage license is obtained.  Regarding other countries, at this time, priests in Canada are not able to legally perform marriage ceremonies. As for France, Denmark, India, Egypt and any other countries where priests reside, one would have to research the requirements for each individual country.

Many priests have chosen to work in health-related areas, some are already ordained in other religions, a few have pastorates, many work with death and dying, some with battered wives and children, at rape crisis centers, prison ministry, but most of us are accountants, bartenders, carpenters, office workers, business executives, homemakers; we are in all walks of life and at different ages.

I hope this information helps those of you who are considering ordination as well as those of you who are families and friends of someone who had made this choice to become ordained into the Order.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK SYMBOL.

The Key of Life or “Priesthood Symbolis a helpful tool in reconnecting us with our history and our goal to teach and heal a world in transformation”.

The Triangle represents the decent of God-Light into matter and toward the Earth for change. It is a “male principal” because it is action going forth.  It is Light, Fire, Revelation.  It is shown as a triangle in it's two-dimensional form, which is also symbolic of the trinity of Light or “neutrinos”, the building blocks of unconditional God Love that is the Universe.  In it's three-dimensional form, it is a cone, or vortex of energy spiraling toward the atmosphere of Earth, the Gemstone connected to this energy is Lapis.  The color is Indigo Blue.

Those of you who work with color, or crystal (stone) healing may wish to use these elements.

The Priesthood is “The Cup” or receptical into which this Light is poured and through which the outpouring is given to all those whom you contact, as a benefit of that Light.  It is the outpouring of the vessel of Aquarius.  “Follow the Water Bearer!”  this fire is a Kundalini life force, which is why so many of you have life-changing events since their ordination.

And, or course, all of this is in accordance with your FREE WILL.  By the turn of the century, the entire life force of Planet Earth will have been impregnated by this transforming energy.

Our job is to help in that process by being the best that all can be to teach and heal right where you are.  Bring it down to Earth by being down to Earth yourself.

If you're a carpenter, then be the best you can be, exhibit “oneness” in your life and in your craft.  Teach by example and heal through your attitude.  Heal through your care about your work and the people you work with and for.  Work is Worship.

If your are a waitress-priest, you serve with “oneness” and teach by your example at your workplace.  You heal in your attitude with the clients and the conversations at the table or booth.

You all have the freedom to create your ministry in your life, as you live it.  Forgive yourself and be focused on one day at a time.

You do not need to be a doctor to be a healer, or a professor to be a teacher.  Take what you have got and go with it.  Be creative and be the vessel for the outpouring of the Light.

The Crossbar is for balance and equality.  It is the integration point between the yin and yang (male and female energies).  It is the child of those energies.  It is the point where they meet.  It is perfect balance and the creative issue that comes from that.  It is like the atmosphere around Mother Earth, that takes the Light energy, breaks it up and disperses it around the world through the magnetic field.  In third-dimensional form, it is a disk with a point in the center.

The point represents “BINDU” or the point of origin, the round table at which everyone is equal when they join together and focus on the middle.  It goes in all directions equally.  It's circumference is the same as the cone and the orb or circle-the bottom of the symbol.

In the Priesthood, we are all equal… none greater than the other… none higher or lower, but all equal in God's sight.  God Sight is color blind, gender blind, past blind, career blind, etc.  It is the seed of the Soul.  When the disk is slightly twisted, it creates the pattern of infinity.

It is a God Symbol that has no beginning or end, but forevermore, just like the words of your vow.  The color of the crossbar is yellow and the stone is Golden Topaz.

The Circle is Mother Earth. It is the Female principal.  It is the receiver of the Light, that which the light is being poured into….for life….for growth….for change.  The result of that is change for all forms of life on the plane….all forms, which include visible and invisible….the microbes, the viruses, the people, plants and animals, systems, governments, countries, etc.  As Priests, we are midwives for God in this process.  Each of you is uniquely designed to do your part in this process of transformation.  Mother is a living part of God's body, the universe.  Our thoughts, feelings and deeds directly effect her atmosphere and her skin and body.  God desires that she continue to live and that we must change in order for that to continue.  The goal of the Priesthood is to teach and to heal during this time of Mother's rebirthing process.  The color here is green and the stone is Emerald.

For those who use geomancy or sacred geometry and mathematics, the number values are:

Triangle = 7, Crossbar = 7, and Circle = 8, to a total of 22.  Twenty-two is a Master frequency for liberation.

How you serve is through free will and individual expression.
Why we serve is to aid in transformation.
What we serve is the planet and all therein.
Where we go from here….is to continue to renew our practice of spiritual principles on a day-to-day basis and in a down-to-earth, practical fashion to keep it simple and keep it sacred.

BIBLICAL REFERENCES TO THE “ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK”
Melchisedek or Melchizedek (mel-kiz-e-dek)

Genesis 14:18-20

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was priest of God Most High.  And He blessed him and said “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, maker of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High who has delivered your enemies into your hand!”

Hebrews 5:7-10

In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard for his godly fear.  Although he was a Son, he learned obedience through what he suffered; and being made perfect he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him, being designated by God a high priest after the Order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:19-20

We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner shrine behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest for ever after the Order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:1-17

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him; and to him Abraham apportioned a tenth part of everything.  He is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, that is, king of peace.  He is without father and mother or genealogy, and has neither beginning of days nor end of Life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.

See how great he is? Abraham, the patriarch gave him a tithe of the spoils.  And those descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office have a commandment in the law to take tithes from people, that is from their brethren, though these also are descended from Abraham.  But this man had their geneology received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.  It is beyond dispute that the inferior is blessed by the superior.  Here tithes are received by mortal men; there, by one of whom it is testified that he lives.  One might even say that Levi himself, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, for he was still in the loins of his ancestor when Melchizedek met him.

Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the Order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the Order of Aaron?  For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well.  For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar.  For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.

This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, who has become a priest, not according to a legal requirement concerning bodily descent but by the power of indestructible life.  For it is witnessed of him,

“Thou are a priest for ever, after the Order of Melchizedek.”
